REVIEWER POLICY AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Individuals interested in reviewing for The Journal of Psychedelic Psychiatry should send an email expressing their interest. 
 

Article abstracts will be sent to reviewers based on their expressed preference and expertise and the reviewer determine if they would like to select that article to review by responding to the email. All edits should be completed within 1 month of the scheduled publication date to allow the author(s) time to discuss and or make changes to the article. 
 

Generally, conflicts of interest including financial are not exclusionary in regard to consideration for serving as a peer reviewer. However, any potential conflict of interest should be disclosed at the time of submission or at the earliest moment a reviewer becomes concerned about a conflict of interest. 

CONCERNS, CORRECTIONS, AND RETRACTIONS

Individuals who have concerns about a specific article can send an email detailing their concerns and will receive a response within 3 business days.

Corrections to articles that occur after publication of the issue will be noted by intext notation with a footnote explanation and will appear within the published version of the article on the website and an email noting the correction will be sent to all journal subscribers making them aware of the correction.

Retractions will be published in the next issue with an explanation of why the article was removed. If an article is retracted it will immediately be removed from the published version of the journal on the website and an email will be sent to all journal subscribers making them aware of the retraction.
